Nordette is an oral contraceptive pill that prevents women from getting pregnant. It contains Progestin and Estrogen. Nordette is usually used for prevention of pregnancy but also can be used for other functions as well such as to ensure a regular period cycle, reduce increased amount of blood loss during period, reduces pain during period, reduces the risk of getting ovarian cyst, and to treats acne on the face. This list may not be complete and perhaps there are other uses for Nordette. Do not consume this medication although others with the similar symptoms are taking it. These symptoms might be revealed when one uses the medication for a long period of time. Nordette contains Levonorgestrel and Ethinyloestradiol. The effects of Nordette depends on the purpose of usage and the dose of the medication taken. This medication is suppose to be taken only according to the dosage given by the doctor. Please check the expiry date on the medication before usage. Before taking Nordette, please get a doctor’s advice especially if you have any of the following disease, allergic to Nordette or any of its ingredients, liver disease, asthma or other respiratory problems, hypersensitivity, breastfeeding mothers, hypothyroidism, breast cancer, migraine,or depression.
