Vytorin is used to treat primary hypercholesterolemia, secondary hypercholesterolemia, mixed hypercholesterolemia, high bad-cholesterol such as LDL, low good-cholesterol such as HDL, and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. It contains Ezetimibe and Simvastatin which reduce the cholesterol level inside the blood. Vytorin is commonly used to treat hypercholesterolemia but it also has different indications such as obesity, reduction in stroke and heart disease occurrence primary hypercholesterolemia, secondary hypercholesterolemia, mixed hypercholesterolemia, high bad-cholesterol such as LDL, low good-cholesterol such as HDL, and homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia. This list is incomplete and there might be other uses and indications of Vytorin. Do not take this medication even though someone you know with same symptoms is taking it. Please refer to your doctor before starting this medication.Besides the uses, people who are taking Vytorin may also develop certain side effects, such as bloatedness, myalgia, headache, stomach ache, diarrhea, fatigue, nausea, anaemia, hairfall, and itchiness.
